YANKEES ROCK CLEVELAND

Cleveland Rocks. So they say. But the Yankees were like Rock-stars at the 2019 All-Star Game hosted by Cleveland. DJ LeMahieu and Gary Sanchez were given the well deserved honor of being in the starting line-up. Gleyber Torres played in his 2nd ASG at the young age of 22. Masahiro Tanaka was the winning pitcher for the A.L. (4-3 victory), and Aroldis got the save, after he was paid a mound visit by … CC Sabathia who received a standing ovation as he walked back to the dugout, to go with the standing ovation he was given during the pre-game. CC beloved by Indians fans, spent the first 8 years of his future HOF career in Cleveland highlighted by his 2007 AL Cy Young Award.

But now it is back to business, as the Yankees continue their quest for World Series title #28, and the hope that next year Aaron Boone will be sitting in the AL dugout in Dodger Stadium as LA will host the 2020 ASG.
