CC Sabathia has been a true “STOPPER”. Since the beginning of the 2017 season, Sabathia is 11-0 with a 2.55 ERA in 17 starts that follow a Yankees loss. CC made it 11-0 with his most recent Win after a loss (to Mets) by pitching 5.2 innings of shutout ball vs. the Washington Nats, at Yankee Stadium (6/12/18) leading the way to a 3-0 Yankees victory with the help of 2 HRs by Didi Gregorius
Sabathia also got a standing ovation from the big crowd in the Bronx for recording his 1,500th strikeout in a Yankee uniform. (He has 2,893 total career strikeouts)
CC has reinvented himself and his stuff is good. If, he stays healthy & off the DL he will be an enormous help to the Yankee rotation going forward in the regular season & hopefully the postseason.
