10 DAY FORECAST FOR THE SO. BRONX – HAZY , HOT & HOMERS

The Yankees  RESTORED ORDER ..NORTH OF THE BORDER

by going into Toronto in 2nd Place after being swept at home by the Blue Jays,

dropping 2 of 3 to the last place Cleveland Indians, and then taking

2 of 3 to leave Canada with a 1/2 game lead ( 2 in the loss column ) !

When you consider the Yanks were being shut out 3-0 in the 8th inning

of Game 1 with David Price on the mound and the Yankee bats being

shut out by Blue Jay pitching for more than 33 consecutive innings, not to mention

a sold out deafening Rogers Centre … the Yanks showed again, they are a professional

no-quit team with an enormous amount of heart and fight !!

Carlos Beltran was the hero that night with a huge pinch hit 8th inning 3 Run HOME RUN

that might well have saved the season from spinning into a downward spiral.

The Yankees also continue to show that they live … and die by the Home Run.

They are not a situational team that manufactures runs (which in my opinion

is the way to build an Offense to compete in the post-season & to win a Championship)

**The Bronx Bombers are built with Left Handed pull hitters to take advantage of the  Stadium’s short porch in Right Field.

**The Yankees have the next 10 games at home in the South Bronx  where their record is 32-21 this season

**The 90 degree heat is conducive  for baseballs flying out of the park !

So while the weather is, for now,  in their favor …

Hopefully the forecast for the South Bronx & Yankee Line-Up is ..

HAZY , HOT , AND HOMERS !!!

As always,

GO NYY !!
